Careermust Credits & Points Policy

This policy explains how Careermust Credits work, how they can be purchased or earned, and the rules that apply to using them. By purchasing or using credits, you agree to the terms below.

1) Definitions

Credits are digital units that can be used on Careermust to access premium services. Credits have no cash value outside of the platform.

Points (if displayed separately in your UI) are promotional rewards that may convert to credits or unlock benefits depending on campaign rules.

Premium services include (but are not limited to) premium templates, AI resume review, job-based tailoring, AI counseling, and career coaching plans.

Spend credits to unlock premium features or purchase coaching plans.

Track balance

Your credits balance is visible in your account and updates after each purchase/use.

Important

Credits are not a bank account, stored value card, or currency. They are a digital usage balance used only within Careermust.

3) Purchasing Credits & Refund Policy

When you buy credits, your purchase will be added to your account balance. Prices and credit packages may vary by region, promotions, or campaign availability.

All purchased credits are non-refundable. Once credited to your account, credits cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be refunded, except where required by law.

Technical issues

If credits are deducted incorrectly due to a technical issue (e.g., failed service delivery, duplicate deduction), we may re-credit the affected amount after review. Please contact support and provide sufficient details (see section 6).

4) Expiry, Transfers, and Restrictions

No expiry

Credits do not expire. You can use them at any time, unless your account is closed or access is restricted under our Terms.

Non-transferable

Credits cannot be transferred to another account, sold, gifted, or exchanged. Credits are linked to the account that earned or purchased them.

No cash value

Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or bank transfers. Credits only unlock services within Careermust.

Account restrictions

We may suspend credit usage where required for fraud prevention, chargebacks, or policy violations.

5) Earning Credits via Promotions & Actions

In addition to purchasing credits, you may earn credits through promotional programs and in-app actions. Availability, amounts, and eligibility may vary by campaign.

Referral rewards

Earn credits when you refer new users and they complete the required steps (e.g., signup, verification, first activity). Referral terms may change per campaign.

Account actions

You may earn credits for actions like email confirmation, profile completion, or participating in platform activities (when enabled).

Limited-time promotions

We may run campaigns that award credits for specific actions or events. Promotional credits may have extra conditions (e.g., usage limits or eligibility rules).

Fair use

Abuse, manipulation, or fraudulent activity may result in credit removal, reversal of rewards, or account suspension.

Note

Promotional credits are also non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to modify or end promotions at any time.

6) Support, Disputes & Re-credit Requests

If you believe credits were deducted incorrectly due to a technical issue, contact support and include as much detail as possible so we can investigate.

What to include in your request

  • • Your account email / username
  • • Date and time of the issue (with time zone if possible)
  • • The service you tried to use (e.g., AI Resume Review, premium template, coaching purchase)
  • • Any error message, screenshot, or reference ID
  • • The number of credits deducted (if known)

Investigation & resolution

We review logs and service delivery. If confirmed as a technical issue, credits may be re-credited to your account.

Chargebacks and fraud

If a payment is reversed or disputed through your bank, we may restrict credit usage or adjust your credit balance accordingly.

7) Changes to this policy

We may update this Credits & Points Policy to reflect product updates, legal requirements, or changes to promotions. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
